Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to consider the representation dated 03.01.2025 and the subsequent representation dated 22.01.2026 and to direct the respondents to take action against the removal of petitioners father's name in the Patta and to add petitioner's father Chinnaswamy's name in the patta no.95

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 03.01.2025 & 22.01.2026.

2. Mr.M.Guruprasad, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed the representations dated 03.01.2025 & 22.01.2026 before the respondents 1 to 4, requesting to take action against the removal of petitioner's father's name from the patta pertaining to the subject property. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 03.01.2025 & 22.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
