O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 25.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is alleged by the petitioner that her husband Thirugnanasambandam went missing from 12.08.1987, for which, the petitioner has now given a complaint on 25.06.2016 before the 2nd respondent Police and has come out with this petition, for a direction to the respondent Police to register an FIR.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, the respondent Police have registered the complaint given by the petitioner in CSR.No.85 of 2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. It is seen that the complaint given by the petitioner suffers from latches. Hence, no positive direction can be issued and this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedies in the manner known to law.
