Prayer:- This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order of the respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.6238/2020/A4 dated 27.02.2020 and to quash the same as illegal, incompetent and ultra vires and consequently reinstate in the post of Senior Revenue Inspector with all service and monetary benefits. ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and is disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

This writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order / proceedings of the respondent dated 27.022020 with a direction to the respondent to reinstate the petitioner to the post of Senior Revenue Inspector with all attendant and monetary benefits.

The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the petitioner though was suspended on 27.02.2020, no charges were framed till date and no Memo has been served on him so far. Since no disciplinary proceedings are initiated or https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
pending, the petitioner challenges the prolonged suspension.
The petitioner has also submitted a representation dated 03.11.2020 seeking reinstatement to the said post.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

Considering the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for revocation of the suspension order and for reinstatement. 7.
Accordingly, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2020 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
