This Criminal Original Petition has been filed direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to initiate action on the complaint of the petitioners dated 11.08.2015 and pass a final report.

2. Heard Ms.M.Jayashree, the learned counsel appeared on behalf of Mr.M.Ganeshan, the learned counsel for the petitioner and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first and second respondents.

3. It is seen that these petitioners have given Power of Attorney to one Ponnusamy on 31.01.2007 in respect of their property and have unilaterally cancelled the Power of Attorney on 20.03.2007. It is alleged by the petitioners that the said Ponnusamy had sold the property after cancellation in the year 2007.

4. On a reading of the complaint, the dispute essentially appears to be civil in nature and therefore no positive directions can be issued to the Police to investigate. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
