Respondent(s) PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.03.2026 seeking for the grant of "No Objection Certificate" and issue "No Objection Certificate" as expeditiously thereby enabling the petitioner to submit the same to the office of Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India to get selected as Notary Advocate.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks a direction to the respondent to consider the application dated 14.3.2026 for grant of "No Objection Certificate" enabling the petitioner to submit the same to the office of the Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India to get selected as Notary Advocate.
2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that, as on date, complaints are pending against the petitioner. However, the application of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
3. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible,
preferably within fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
It is made clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
