ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the 1/4
respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 448, 323, 365,342,379 (NP), 506(ii) of IPC in Cr.No.48 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused had been involved in assaulting and threatening of the informant one Eswaran, a functionary of Dravidar Kazhagam, who had been instrumental in the marriage of daughter of A9 with one Selvan/defacto complainant, another party functionary of the informant without the consent of the family and therefore, had assaulted and threatened him. Hence, the complaint.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and a false case has been foisted against him and the petitioner is not involved in the above said offence and the girl involved in the above issue is presently in the custody of her parents and has given statements under Section 164 Cr.P.C before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem that she was not kidnapped by anyone. 2/4
Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent has submitted that this is the fourth anticipatory bail petition; suppressing earlier dismissals in Crl.OP.Nos.8693 and 10028 and 11289 of 2020, the present petition has been filed. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Taking into consideration of the facts and submissions of the learned counsel and the fact that the petitioner suppressed earlier dismissals, that too, during the year 2020, this Court is inclined to dismiss this petition also.
6.Already this petitioner has approached this court by way of Crl.OP.No.11289 of 2020 and the same was dismissed on 30.07.2020. Now also, there is no change of circumstance in this case. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
