2. It is the case of the petitioner is that he was working as Professor of Commerce in Loyola College, Nungambakam, Chennai - 600 034 and he retired from service on 31.08.1984. He is entitled for the benefits under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
G.O.Ms.No.106, dated 14.05.2015 with regard to the revision of his pension. Since the benefit was not extended, the petitioner made an application dated 17.06.2015 to the third respondent, it was forwarded to the second respondent for necessary action. So far, no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.G.Nagarajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.V.Vijay Shankar, learned counsel appearing of the first respondent and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 17.06.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
