Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the fourth respondent in No.T.IX.2/2020-EC-1 dated 16.07.2020 and quash the same insofar as the petitioner is concerned and direct the respondents to consider him for choice posting as Terminal Posting in accordance with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Standing Order No.07/2015 dated 04.08.2015.

O R D E R

Challenge in the writ petition is to the order of transfer passed by the fourth respondent dated 16.07.2020 and for a direction to the respondents to consider him for choice posting as Terminal Posting in accordance with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Standing Order No.07/2015 dated 04.08.2015.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, pending the writ petition, the impugned transfer order was cancelled and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
