....Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of directing the Respondents to refund the amount of Rs.16,000/- along with interest at the rate of 18 percentage p.a. from 21.05.2019 the date of his payment within a time frame to be fixed by this Honourable Court For Petitioner :

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to refund a sum of Rs.16000/- with interest.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he purchased the property by virtue of a registered Sale Deed dated 10.05.2019. According to the petitioner, an excess payment of a sum of Rs.16,000/- was made to the third respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that this amount has not been refunded to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner and hence the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

3. Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the amount has already been transferred to the account of the petitioner through Electronic Clearing System (ECS) on 10.08.2020.

4. Recording the said submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
