PRAYER:

The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to allow this revision petition and set aside the fair order and decretal order dated 04.07.2017 passed in I.A.No.1807 of 2004 in I.A.No.1806 of 2004 in O.S. 116 of 1988 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Cuddalore.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed to allow this revision petition and set aside the fair order and decretal order dated 04.07.2017 passed in I.A.No.1807 of 2004 in I.A.No.1806 of 2004 in O.S. 116 of 1988 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Cuddalore.

2. When the Civil Revision Petition was listed for admission on 07.02.2018, at the request of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned for two weeks. Again on 21.02.2018, the matter was adjourned by two weeks. Thereafter, when the matter was listed on 14.08.2018 for admission, once again at the request of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, it was adjourned to 16.08.2018. Thereafter, when the matter was listed on 16.08.2018, 29.08.2018 and 15.07.2020, again at the request of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned. Even thereafter, the learned Counsel for the petitioner did not take steps to list the matter even for admission. As such, the Civil Revision Petition is pending for the past three years without even getting admission or ordering notice. It shows that the petitioner is not interested in proceeding with the present Civil Revision Petition. 2/4

3. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition after a period of three years. Accordingly, the present civil revision petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
