.. Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioners daughter namely MPV Ilavarasi to continue her B.Com. Computer Application Course till its completion.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner, is the father of a girl student of the 3rd respondent college viz., Ms.Illavarasi and she has passed her Higher Secondary Examination, securing 680 out of 1200 marks and she joined B.Com. (Computer Applications) in the 3rd respondent college during this academic year. The petitioner would state that

on 22.06.2015, the 3rd respondent has called his daughter and instructed to bring her parents and the petitioner being the parent was also present before the 3rd respondent and he was informed that since the handwriting of his daughter is bad, she may not be able to pursue the course effectively and requested him to get the transfer certificate. The petitioner in this regard has submitted a detailed representation to the 1st respondent on 26.06.2015 and since, no response is forthcoming, he came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that if the daughter of the petitioner is sent out during midstream of the academic year, she may not get admission in any of the College and therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner may be sympathetically considered.

4. This Court, heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf the respondents 1 and 2.

5. This Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances, especially the career and future of the daughter of the petitioner permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the 2nd respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 2nd respondent on receipt of the same is directed to consider the same in accordance with law, after providing the petitioner an opportunity of personal hearing and pass orders within a period of two weeks, thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

6. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
