O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking the relief of quashment of the impugned order dated 28.07.2020 passed by the 5th respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that during the pendency of this petition, matter has become infructuous. However, the learned counsel for petitioners submits that this Court may direct the respondents to pay the compensation to the petitioners towards erection of electric lines in the lands belonging to the petitioners within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. In view of the above, the 5th respondent is directed to pay the compensation to the petitioners towards erection of electric lines in their lands within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order if he otherwise eligible.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
