This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed upon the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.31224 of 2022 dated 19.12.2022, passed by this Court to report before respondent Police on every Wednesday and Sunday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three months and thereafter, every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learend Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the final report has been filed and the case has been taken up for trial in Spl.S.C.No.313 of 2022 on the file of the Special Court for exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Chennai and the case now stands posted on 04.05.2023.
3. Considering the said submission, the condition 7(c) imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.31224 of 2022 dated 19.12.2022 is alone modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the learned Special Judge for exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Chennai, on 04.05.2023 at 10.30 a.m., and thereafter, on the date fixed by the learned trial Judge.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
