ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the patta bearing No.165 and all connected revenue records in favour of the petitioners based on the representation dated 05.03.2026.

2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The petitioners claim that they are the legal representatives of the deceased Karuppusamy, in whose name the patta bearing No.165 stands. They seek transfer of patta bearing No.165 in their names subsequent to the death of the said Karuppusamy. They have given a representation to the 1st respondent on 05.03.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioners' representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioners and after hearing all the necessary Page No.2 of 5

parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expresssing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation, dated 05.03.2026 seeking transfer of patta bearing No.165 in the names of the petitioners and all connected revenue records, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioners and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
