Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. This petition is filed to condone the delay of 438 days in filing the appeal.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent has not raised any serious objection in allowing the petition. However, he submits that the appellant is not entitled for any interest for the delayed period.

4. The said submission is recorded. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the delay is condoned and the petition is ordered.

5. It is made clear that the appellant is not entitled for any interest for the delayed period.

6. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order, and list the same for admission on 09.09.2021.

7.Registry is directed to print the name of Mr.M.J.Vijayaraghavan, as the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent.
