ORDER

The petitioner made a representation on 08.12.2015 seeking issuance of patta in respect of Survey No.289/2B1 to an extent of 0.30 cents of land at No.61, Athipattu Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thirvallur District on the ground that the said property belongs to his ancestors. As the said representation is yet to be considered, despite the same having been received, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 08.12.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
