ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J) Petitioner has sought for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the illegal and unauthorized 'Concrete Pedestal' meant for erection of Flag Post, being put up on the pavement at the junction abutting Puraswalkam High Road and Brick Klin Road, Chennai - 600 010 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. On 03.06.2019, we directed Mr.K.Soundararajan, learned Standing Counsel for Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation, to take steps.

3. Today, Mr.C.P.Sivamohan, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier, flag post has been removed and after notice, the concrete pedestal has also been removed. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is placed on record.

4. In the light of the above, no mandamus, need be issued. Hence, the instant writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
