ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 132 of BNS Act, (294(b), 353 of IPC Act) r/w Section 4 of TNPHW Act, in Crime No.26 of 2026, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. From the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) the occurrence took place on 18.03.2026 and this accused has misbehaved with unmarried defacto complainant.

3. Taking into consideration the seriousness of the allegation and the registration of the First Information Report on 19.03.2026 and considering the fact that the petitioner has got one previous case of extortion in Crime No.22 of 2026, this Court is not inclined to enlarge him on anticipatory bail.
