This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 12.07.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.D.Rameshkumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was allotted to the petitioner under the Special Scheme of Tamil Nadu Land Distribution (Poor and Landless Farmers) Special Plan 2006. After the allotment, the patta and FMB sketch also stand in the name of the petitioner in patta No.2665. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property in order to demarcate the boundaries. An application was submitted in this regard. Since the same was not acted upon, a representation was also made and the same did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 12.07.2024 and conduct the survey in the subject property based on the allotment order, patta and FMB sketch that stand in the name of the petitioner. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
