Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondent-Police to investigate into the complaint pending in C.S.R.No.36 of 2015, and to provide police protection for protecting petitioner's viz, bearing Plot No.17, Anna Nagar, Extension III Main Road, Velacherry, Chennai, 600 042, measuring an extent of 3,963 sqft., with present T.S.No.54, Block Nos.212, bearing Old S.No.316/110 and 316/3. Mr.M.Maharaja, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent-Police.

The petitioner seeks a direction to respondent-Police to investigate into the complaint, pending in C.S.R.No.36 of 2015, dated 26.1.2015.

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor, representing the respondent-Police. 4.

Considering the nature of allegations made in the complaint of the petitioner, this Court directs respondent-Police to register a case on the complaint pending in C.S.R.No.36 of 2015, and proceed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

further in accordance with law by following the principles laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in re Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others, reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]. Insofar as prayer seeking for police protection, is concerned, it is open to the petitioner to move separate petition.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
