O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide new temporary commercial sewerage connection for the premises in the ground and first floor situated at Door No.137/60, Eldams Road, Teynampet, Chennai - 600 018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsels appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the officials of the respondents 1 and 2 have disconnected the sewerage connection, which was given to the ground and first floor of the building.

4. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that they did not disconnect the sewerage connection, as alleged by the petitioner. The petitioner has used storm water connection for letting out the sewerage that was only arrested by the first respondent. It is further submitted that only one sewerage connection would be provided for the building and therefore, the request of the petitioner for providing temporary commercial connection cannot be considered and this is the case of dispute between landlord and tenant.

5. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsels, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
