This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to include the name of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner in the promotional panel for the year 2013 and to promote him as Assistant on par with his immediate junior with all other attendant benefits and to award costs.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up, Mr.K.Krishnamoorty, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that pending Writ Petition, the 1st respondent by letter No.H2/14198/2015, dated 22.07.2015, instructed the 2nd respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the Assistant panel for the year 2013 and to promote him as Assistant on par with his immediate junior with all other attendant benefits. The said letter is produced before this Court. He would further submit that pursuant to the said letter, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and hence, he may be permitted to withdraw the Writ Petition.
