This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 17.04.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for regular appointment to the post of Post Graduate Assistant Teacher as per G.O.(Ms).No.151, dated 16.10.2008.

2. Heard Mr.P.Dhamodaran, Party-in-Person and Mrs.S.Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for respondents.

3. In the considered view of this Court, the services of the petitioner has been utilized in bits and pieces and from the year 20192020, his services have never been utilized. In any case, this Court does not find that the petitioner has any legal right/statutory right to seek for regularization of his service and G.O.(Ms).No.151, dated 16.10.2008 will not apply to a case of this nature. More over, the petitioner himself has 2/4

stated that the course for which his services were utilized was discontinued long back and this course is no more available. In the light of the above discussion, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.
