This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 31.03.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.7226 of 2023 to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with two sureties, out of which, one should be the blood surety, who should produce document to show his/her means each for a like sum.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was earlier granted bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.7226 of 2023 on 31.03.2023 with a condition the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with two sureties, out of whom, one should be the blood surety, who should produce the document to show his/her means. He submitted that the petitioner is ready to produce blood relatives, but they are not having any document to produce to show their means for Rs.25,000/-. He also submitted that despite the bail order being granted on 31.03.2023, the petitioner is unable to come out on bail and still, the petitioner is languishing in prison, thereby, he seeks for modification of the condition. 3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the condition imposed as against the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

vkr petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, out of which, one should be a blood related surety, each for a like sum. The other conditions shall remain intact.

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
