Seeking to consider the request made to re-issue the passport by changing his date of birth, the petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition.

2. The learned CGSC appearing for the respondent submitted that there are lot of discrepancies which require proper analysis.

3. Taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider file No.MA1078502961715, dated 07.05.2015 and take appropriate steps in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court does not express any view on the merits of the representation.
