Accepting the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petitions, these petitions are ordered, the delay of 228 days in filing the petition to set aside the abatement is condoned, the abatement caused due to the death of the 1st respondent is set aside and the proposed respondents are brought on record as legal representatives of the deceased 1st respondent and ranked them as respondents 2 to 7 in the above appeal. 2.Registry is directed to carryout the amendment. 3.It is represented by the learned counsel that by order dated 28.07.2022, the original respondent namely, C.Venkatasamy is permitted to withdraw 50% of the compensation deposited by the appellants. It is made clear that the newly impleaded parties namely, legal representatives will be entitled to the benefit of the order.
