Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to reissuance of bought- in - lands and issuance of patta for lands in Survey No.25/10 measuring an extent of 1.46 acres, Survey No.120/7 measuring an extent of 1.32 acres and Survey No.125/3 measuring an extent of 2.09 acres in Puliankunta Village, Veerarahavapuram Post, Thiruthani Taluk, Tiruvallur District, to him, based on his representation dated 31.07.2017.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 2nd respondent has not considered the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2017 so far. Hence, a direction may be issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the same.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
