By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be a Member of the Temple Festival Committee of Shri Mariamman Temple, situate at Pennagaram, Dharmapuri District. He submitted a representation/application dated 17.07.2015 to the respondent, seeking permission to conduct a cultural program on 28.07.2015, in connection with the temple festival, which includes song and dance programme and since, he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted to conduct the song and dance programme, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders.

4.This Court heard the submissions of Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent. 5.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the application/representation, directs the respondent to consider the application/representation dated 17.07.2015, in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 27.07.2015 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

inform the decision taken to the petitioner forthwith.
