Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to directing the respondents to grant 30 days leave to the detenue, the life convict prisoner the detenue, S.A.Basha, S/o. Abdhul Rehman, aged about 78 years Convict No.3244, detained at Central Prison, Kovai 18.

O R D E R

(The Order of the Court was made by M. M.SUNDRESH,J.,) The petitioner is the daughter of the convict - S.A.Basha. Seeking leave for the convict on the ground that the petitioner and her mother are suffering from illness, the present petition has been filed.

2. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that during enquiry it was ascertained that the petitioner and her mother are suffering from illness. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, we are inclined to grant leave to the convict for a period of two weeks commencing from 10.00 a.m. on 20.06.2019 subject to the usual conditions that can be imposed by the respondents and the convict shall return back to the prison at 05.00 p.m. on 04.07.2019. This Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of accordingly.
