O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner in any manner except by due process of law pursuant to the representation dated 09.09.2015 given to the 1st respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that one Ramya has given a complaint on 11.08.2015 alleging that this petitioner had physical affair with her on the promise of marrying her and thereafter, he went back on the promise. This petitioner was called for enquiry and he appeared before the second respondent police and undertook to marry Ramya on 09.09.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of this undertaking, the complaint given by Ramya was closed. When this petitioner applied for Anticipatory Bail before this Court, since the complaint given by Ramya was closed on the undertaking given by the petitioner that he will marry her on 09.09.2015, it was also closed on the ground that petition enquiry has been closed.

4. Now, it appears that this petitioner has gone back upon the promise made to the said Ramya. Therefore, Ramya is pursuing her complaint.

5. Under such circumstances, no blanket order not to harass the petitioner can be passed. Hence, the criminal original petition is closed.
