Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents particularly the 1st respondent to survey, measure and mark the boundaries of the land measuring about 0.7.50 Are in S.No.66/3D1A & 0.13.50 Are in S.No.66/4A1 measuring totally an extent of 0.21.0 Ares in Kathirvedu Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Tiruvallore District.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has paid the necessary fee for surveying the land and also given a representation dated 04.11.2016, however, the same has not yet been considered by the 1st respondent.

4. Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 04.11.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 04.11.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
