Prayer:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide a suitable job to the petitioner's 1st daughter namely Karkuzhali, W/o.Kumaraguru, on compassionate ground as soon as possible.

ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and is disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

This writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus, to direct the respondents to provide employment to the
petitioner's first daughter, who is married, on compassionate ground.

Though the petitioner had earlier submitted a representation dated 04.08.2020 seeking employment on compassionate ground to her son-in-law, she submitted another representation dated 08.04.2021, seeking the very same relief to her eldest daughter, viz., Karkuzhali, W/o.Kumaraguru. Since no response is forthcoming from the respondents, she is constrained to approach this Court by filing the present writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the eldest daughter of the petitioner, who is married, is also eligible to get appointment on compassionate ground on the basis of the Government Orders. He would further add that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2021 on merits after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. 6.
The Court heard the submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2021 on merits and in accordance with law, afford an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
