This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to file final report in Crime No.86 of 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that provisions of the SC and ST Act has been invoked and investigation has been carried on by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Attur, Salem District, who has not been made as a party. In a case of this nature, no order directing the police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner can be given.

4. Under such circumstances, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Attur, Salem District is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation in Crime No.86 of 2015 and take action, in accordance with law.
