The petitioner filed this writ petition to direct the respondents to issue Community Certificate to him and his family members. It is submitted that the petitioner has made an application to the second respondent.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. There is nothing on record to show as to when the application in question was given. Even if the application was given to the second respondent in person, the petitioner should state in the affidavit as to when it was handed over to him. There is no material, much less justifiable material available on record to direct the second respondent to dispose of the application. We are therefore, of the view that no direction can be given to the second respondent to dispose of the application.

4. We give liberty to the petitioner to file an application before the concerned authority for issuance of Community Certificate. In case, any such application is given, the same shall be disposed of, as expeditiously as possible.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
