This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. The Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner who was working under the defacto complainant been suspected for misappropriating a sum of Rs.2,85,000/-. Hence, complaint been received by the 2nd respondent and when the 2nd respondent called for enquiry, present petition is filed alleging that the police is harassing.

3. The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent states that on receipt of the complaint by one Mr.Maniraj under whom the petitioner was working, the petitioner was called for enquiry who did not appear. If he appears and participate in the enquiry, there is no necessity for any harassment.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to follow the procedure in accordance with law while conducting the investigation and not to adopt third degree method.
