Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 not to disburse the share of compensation of the petitioner to the fourth respondent who has not purchased the petitioner's share in Survey Nos.212/1-2.08 acres, 212/2 0.71 acres, 212/6-1.86 acres, 213/3-0.54 acres, 213/5B-0.88 acres, 213/6B1-2.12 acres, 213/6B3-5.98 acres, 213/8A-1.42 acres, 244/3-0.13 acres, 244/6-0.83 acres, 244/9A-2.17 acres and 244/9C-0.72 acres in toto 19.44 acres in which namely Tmt.K.Uthira has 1⁄4 shares which come to 4.86 acres out of which the petitioner is entitled to the share i.e., 1⁄4 share which comes to 1.22 acres in Palaiyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that the lands admeasuring to a total extent of 4 acres 86 cents in Survey Nos.212/1, 2 and 6, 213/3, 5B, 6B1, 6B3 and 8A and 244/3, 6, 9A and 9C, at Palaiyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, have been acquired by the Government for the purpose of putting up a power project. 3.The grievance now expressed by the petitioner, is that though she is entitled to the share, she is yet to be disbursed with the compensation and in this regard, she submitted a representation dated 9.5.2015, to the respondents 1 and 2 and though it was acknowledged, she has not been favoured with any response, and hence, she came forward to file this writ petition.

4.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. 5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by her, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 9.5.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the fourth respondent/persons concerned, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent/persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
