ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

This writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2021 as well as the reminder
representation dated 03.06.2021 seeking revocation of the suspension order dated 15.12.2020.

The petitioner, while working as the Deputy Tahsildar, was placed under suspension on account of demand of illegal gratification and issued with the order of suspension on 15.12.2020 and for the past six months he is under suspension. The petitioner, seeking revocation of the order of suspension, submitted representations on 12.04.2021 and 03.06.2021 and since no response is forth coming from the respondents, he is constrained to approach this Court by filing the present writ petition. 5.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that no charge memo has been issued to the petitioner as on date and he has also not been paid subsistence allowance for the past six months.

The Court heard the submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the petitioner's representations, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 12.04.2021 and 03.06.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein. The respondents are also directed to consider the eligibility of the petitioner to get the subsistence allowance and if he is eligible, to make payment of the subsistence allowance to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
