Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to regularise the service of the petitioner in the position of Lecturer from the date of initial appointment with all consequential benefits and to pay arrears of amount and consequently to appoint the petitioner as the Principal before the third respondent.

The petitioner joined the service as a part time Instructor in the third respondent college on 23.01.1981 and his service was regularised on 14.10.1985.
He submitted a representation, dated 13.04.2015, to the second respondent, through proper channel, to regularise his service as Lecturer from the date of his initial appointment. Now, he has come before this Court, seeking for a direction to the second respondent, to dispose of his representation, in the light of the adhoc rules, framed by the first respondent.
2. In view of the narrow prayer made, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and in the light of the adhoc rules framed by the first respondent, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
