ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to include the accused namely Parija, Ranganayagi and Uma in Crime No.300 of 2016 on the basis of petitioner's complainant dated 28.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.300 of 2016 on 17.06.2016 for offences under Sections 294(b), 324 & 506(2) IPC against Venkatesan, Balu and Parthiban. This petition has been filed by the defacto-complainant Velu for a direction to the respondent police to include the names of Parija, Ranganayagi and Uma as accused in the FIR.

4. On a reading of the FIR, it is seen that as against Parija, Ranganayagi and Uma, there is no overtact attributed to them. Hence, the direction as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, during the course of enquiry, if the police get incriminating materials against the said three persons, it is needless to state that the police shall include them in the Final report.

With the above said observation, the criminal original petition is closed.
