CRP Nos.1484 to 1486 of 2023 C.R.P.Nos.1484 to 1486 of 2023 V.BHAVANI SUBBAROYAN.J, This Court vide order dated 19.06.2023 has directed the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ariyalur to dispose of the case in O.P.No.54, of 2020; O.P.No.80 of 2022 and O.P.No.60 of 2020, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The learned Principal District Judge, Ariyalur has now sought for extension of two months time by letter dated 28.08.2023 to dispose of the case stating that as per the request of learned counsel on either side, the matter was posted on 25.08.2023 and on the said date, the counsel for the petitioners in the connected OP Nos.
74, 76 and 94 of 2022 has made representation that he has challenged the arbitral award not only on the point of quantum but also challenged the award on the grand and the same is not as per procedure established under Right to fair compensation and Transparency in Land acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, hence the case was adjourned to 07.09.2023 for hearing both sides on merits as well as the legal points as raised.
