When the matter was taken up on 09.10.2017, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had handed over the case papers to the petitioner and hence, the registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list. On 24.10.2017, the name of the petitioner was also printed in the cause list, but none appeared. Hence, the matter was posted today "for dismissal". Even today, (25.10.2017) also there is no representation on behalf of the appellant either in person or through the counsel on record. Hence, the Criminal revision is dismissed for non prosecution.
