O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.1216 of 2006 on the file of the first respondent police, as illegal.

2. Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police and Mr.P.Saravana Sowmiyan, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police on instructions would submit that in respect to the petition mentioned Crime Number, i.e. Crime No.1216 of 2006, the first respondent police herein had completed the investigation and filed a Final Report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore. He would further submit that the said Final Report filed by the first respondent police was taken on file in C.C.No.1738 of 2019 for the offences punishable under the Sections 120(b), 420 r/w 109 of IPC. The said submission is recorded.

4. In view of the same, since the charge sheet has already been filed in the petition mentioned FIR, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
