Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 12/7/2012 for the issuance of Community Certificate to the petitioner's sons viz., 1. Sathish Kumar and 2. Mathivanan that they belong to Kondareddy (ST) Community based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner.

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI,J.,) With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has made an application dated 12th July, 2012 for issuance of community certificate to his sons viz., 1. Sathish Kumar and 2. Mathivanan, that they belong to Kondareddy (ST) Community. The same is still pending consideration, without any decision or response and as such, a direction be issued to the concerned authority, to consider the application and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law and on its own merit.

3. Mr.N.Sakthivel, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submits that the decision shall be taken within a period of four weeks from today, after proper enquiry and also on examination of all relevant materials placed before the authority.

4. In view of the above said submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 12th July, 2012 and pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
