Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner is working as a Food Inspector / Food Safety Officer from 22.03.2011 in Pollachi Municipality. He has made a representation on 09.10.2015 requesting the respondent to transfer the petitioner from the office bearing Code No.566 to the office bearing Code No.553, Code No.563, and Code No.562 Division, where there is a vacancy. But the said representation was not considered till date. Hence, he came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader.

Considering the submissions made on either side, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2015, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
