This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the learned District Munsif, Mettupalayam, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.302 of 2006, at an early date to be fixed by this Court. 1/4

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, O.S.No.302 of 2006 was filed seeking the relief of partition. He further submitted that, this case is pending for trial from the year 2008, only proof affidavit of P.W.1 was filed and nothing moved thereafter. This is a suit filed in the year 2006 and this case comes under the category of old cases of more than 10 years. Even without the direction from this Court, the learned District Munsif, Mettupalayam, is expected to give priority in disposing the old cases especially the cases, which are pending for more than 10 years and senior citizen cases.

In such view of the matter, this Court directs the learned District Munsif, Mettupalayam, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.302 of 2006, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there is no order as to costs.
