ORDER
The grievance of the petitioners is that their children, who are studying IX Standard in the second respondent-Kendriya Vidyalaya, despite having performed well in the Science subject examination in question, have been awarded lesser marks and hence, seeking revaluation of the answer sheets in the Science subject, the petitioners have made a representation, dated 10.07.2015 to the respondents. Since the said representation is still pending consideration before the respondents, they have filed the present Writ Petition.

Without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent-Deputy Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Chennai, is directed to consider the said representation, in consultation with the second respondent-Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dharmapuri, on merits and in accordance with law and pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
appropriate orders on the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, or within a period of two weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order by the petitioners, along with a copy of the said representation.

While disposing of the said representation, it is well open for the respondents to re-evaluate the Science subject papers in question, by following the rules and regulations of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan / Central Government, in that regard, and if necessary, they shall appoint Science teachers from other District(s) for re-valuation of the disputed answer papers of the children of the petitioners in respect of Science subject.
4. With the above observations/directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
