ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 to 3 to forthwith issue the planning permission to the premises at No.1/110, New Door No.201 presently No.158, Ramakrishna Mutt Road, Mandaveli Chennai-600 028 without insisting to handover the area or requisite facing the road through a registered Gift Deed to CMDA or the Corporation of Chennai and to pass appropriate orders thereon within a time that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for planning permission for the subject premises and dispose of the

same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
