O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2021 with regard to issuance of Patta in favour of him.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner's father has purchased the property from one Duraisamy for an extent of 33 cents out of 1.46 acres in Survey No.169/1, new Survey No.169/1A, situated at Vennangupattu Village, Kottaikadu, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. Thereafter, a joint patta has been issued in favour of petitioner's father and other co-owners. Thereafter, after the death of his father, he has filed an application before the respondent seeking to issue a separate patta in his favour in respect of the extent of 33 cents on 29.04.2021. But, so far, his application was not considered and no order has been passed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

on it. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
