O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the entire records and quash the proceedings in M.C.No.44 of 2016 on the file of the learned Additional Family Judge, Coimbatore.

2.When this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the proceedings, both the petitioner and respondent have arrived at a mutual compromise settling all the issues/disputes which are the subject matter of all the proceedings pending including the present Criminal Original Petition. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has also conceded the same.

3.Both the petitioner and respondent are present before this Court and it is represented that they have settled disputes amicably by entering into a compromise.

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, also in view of the fact that the parties have entered the compromise, this Court is inclined to allow the present Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in M.C.No.44 of 2016 on the file of the learned Additional Family Judge, Coimbatore, are hereby quashed.
