O R D E R

The husband is the petitioner. He has filed the present Revision Petition aggrieved by the order passed in M.C.No.6 of 2007 wherein, he was directed to pay a monthly maintenance of Rs.1,000/- to the respondent/wife from the date of filing of the petition.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Court below has not properly appreciated the financial status of the petitioner before fixing monthly maintenance. It is the further contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent did not live with the petitioner even for three months from the date of marriage. Therefore, the order passed by the Court below needs interference.

3. There is no dispute with regard to the fact that the petitioner and the respondent are husband and wife. The Court below has properly appreciated the financial status and has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

fixed a meager maintenance amount of Rs.1,000/-. There is absolutely, no ground to interfere with the order of the Court below.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
